Anti-Spam Policy
Our opt-in standard, what counts as spam on messaging channels, and how we enforce against it.
Effective 28 October 2026 · ALAbrish Technologies FZCO
1.Our position
ALAbrish exists to make conversations between businesses and their customers better, not to push volume at people who never asked for it. Spam destroys the thing the platform depends on: a recipient's willingness to read a message from a business.
It is also commercially fatal. Messaging channels score sender quality, and a flood of blocks or reports degrades delivery for the sender and, where numbers share infrastructure, for others. We enforce this policy firmly for that reason.
2.What counts as spam here
- Any message to a recipient who has not given clear, affirmative, documented opt-in for that channel.
- Messages to lists that were bought, rented, scraped, harvested or inherited from a third party.
- Marketing dressed as a transactional or service notification to slip past consent rules.
- Continuing to message after a recipient has opted out, by any means, including a plain "stop" in reply.
- Sending at a frequency a reasonable recipient would consider harassment, even with valid opt-in.
- Reusing consent given for one brand to message on behalf of a different brand.
3.The opt-in standard
Consent must be affirmative, specific and recorded. A pre-ticked box, a buried line in terms and conditions, or an assumption drawn from a past purchase does not meet the standard.
- State clearly who is sending, on which channel, and roughly what and how often.
- Capture consent per channel. A WhatsApp opt-in is not an Instagram or Telegram opt-in.
- Record the timestamp, the source, and the exact wording the recipient agreed to.
- Re-confirm consent that has gone cold, typically after 12 to 24 months of no engagement.
- Be able to produce the evidence for any single recipient on request.
4.Honouring opt-outs
Every marketing message must offer an obvious way to stop. Opt-outs must be processed immediately and permanently, and must apply across every campaign and list in your workspace rather than only the one that prompted them.
The platform recognises standard stop keywords and maintains a suppression list automatically. Deliberately bypassing that suppression, for instance by re-importing a contact who previously opted out, is a serious breach of this policy.
5.Sending practices we require
- Identify your business clearly in the first message of any conversation.
- Keep marketing within the messaging windows and template rules of each channel.
- Warm up new sending numbers gradually rather than starting at full volume.
- Segment and target so content is relevant; relevance is the best protection against reports.
- Monitor block, report and opt-out rates, and pause a campaign that spikes.
- Do not spread the same campaign across multiple numbers to dilute quality signals.
6.Monitoring and enforcement
We monitor aggregate quality signals including block rates, report rates, opt-out velocity and channel quality ratings. We do not read customer conversations for marketing purposes.
Where signals or a report indicate a breach, we may warn you, require evidence of opt-in, throttle or pause sending, disconnect a channel, or terminate the agreement. Severe cases, including purchased lists and repeat offences, may be suspended without prior notice. To report spam sent through our platform, email ceo@alabrishtechnologies.com with the sender, the message and the time received.
7.Your legal responsibility
You remain solely responsible for compliance with the marketing and privacy law of every market you message into, including the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, the EU and UK GDPR and PECR, CAN-SPAM, CASL and TCPA where applicable. This policy is our minimum standard, not a substitute for legal advice, and meeting it does not guarantee compliance in your jurisdiction.
